Summary #

I am a software engineer that is passionate about RESTful APIs and I feel confident developing integrations using Java + Spring Boot and Go.

I understand that API development is not only about following the RESTful standards; nowadays it also includes resilience, monitoring, security, access control, rate limiting, and much more. I like to bring to discussion all of these topics when designing an API.

Professional Experience #

For more details about the companies and projects I developed, there is a link for download right here.

But to be brief, I started in 2013 working with LAMP stack. Back then, I had to be a fullstack developer, from designing database table relations to deploy projects on premises.

I kept working as a fullstack developer from 2013 until 2020. Working accros many programming languages such as PHP and Java, for companies like Lenovo and Samsung.

The projects I developed there are now legacy projects and due to some contract constrains, I don’t own their code.

In 2020, my life had a big personal change as I moved from my hometown Manaus to Curitiba.

I started working on modern projects. I leaned more to backend development with Java and Spring Boot. I it has been my stack since then. I also started deploying things on AWS. So lots of other cool technical stuff came in like CI/CD for example.

Now I am working for Rede (an Itau Unibanco company).

I am learning and building a portfolio in Go.
